Abstract

Room Classified Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) in Bandar Lampung during May 2017 reached 52.03%, down 5.17 points compared to April 2017 which recorded 57.20%. TPK star hotel in May 2017 compared to May 2016 which recorded 53.21% decreased by 1.18 points. Other accommodation TPK in May 2017 was 43.18% down 3.09 points compared to April 2017 which recorded 46.27%.

The number of guests during May 2017 staying in star hotels and other accommodation (combined) reached 117,111 people, consisting of 508 foreign guests and 116,603 domestic guests. This condition decreased by 9,136 people (7.24%) compared to April 2017 which recorded 126,247 people. The number of guests by type of hotel in star hotels during May 2017 was 28,472 persons, consisting of 231 foreign guests and 28,241 domestic guests. The number decreased by 2,321 people (7.54%) compared to April 2017 which recorded 30,793 people. While the number of guests during the month of May 2017 stayed in other accommodation as many as 88,639 people, consisting of 277 foreign guests and 88,362 domestic guests or down by 6,815 people or about 7.14% compared to April 2017 which recorded 95,454 people.

The average length of stay of guests in May 2017 at the star hotel was recorded at 1.45 days up 0.02 days compared to April 2017, with 2.80 foreign guest details and domestic guests 1.44 days. While the average length of stay at other hotels / accommodation during May 2017 recorded 1.47 days rose 0.11 days when compared with the previous month, with details of 5.67 foreign guests and domestic guests 1.46 days.
